Ciracas Satpol PP Helps Transport Elderly Residents to Vaccination Site

Two Ciracas Sub-district Satpol PP operational cars were used to transport elderly residents in Ciracas and Cibubur Sub-districts, East Jakarta, who are scheduled to receive vaccination on this Tuesday (3/23). This shuttle service is provided to follow-up residents' request.

Ciracas Sub-district Satpol PP Head, Endharwanto mentioned, those two operational cars were operated by six Satpol PP officers to facilitate elderly residents to the vaccination sites. In picking them up, officers were assisted by local urban village PPSU and RT/RW administrators.

"We deploy two operational vehicles to transport elderly who will be vaccinated. If it is not enough, we can provide more vehicles. Thus elderly can feel safe and comfortable while participating in this dynamic vaccination," he conveyed.

Upas: School Bus Has Served 1,760 Elderly for Vaccination

According to him, one of pick-up points for elderly is located in RT 11/03 and RW 10 Ciracas. Local residents were scheduled to take vaccination at SDN Ciracas 11 Pagi building. This shuttle service is planned to continue until vaccination program for elderly ends.

"We will continue to provide shuttle service for elderly who will be vaccinated. Especially those who have difficulties in transportation to the vaccination site or vice versa," he explained.

Until 13.30, as many as 12 elderly people have used this service. This number was expected to increase until late afternoon.
